The Information Flow newsletter is trying to make a comeback.
From May 2002 to Dec 2003 I published the newsletter monthly. This was a great experience and I made lots of connections, ... but the newsletter stopped back then, but it may yet come back. This was the Newsletter's pitch:
The Information Flow email newsletter covers a wide range of topics related to how enterprises, publishers, researchers, and analysts can use technology to make sense of the deluge of available information. From knowledge management infrastructure to data analysis tools, from categorization to visualization, from algorithm swamps to document galaxies. Explanations, stories, opinions, links - in general, context to help you quickly gain a deeper understanding of this huge, but at the moment, confusing and confused, space.
Let me know if you find things of interest in these past issues. I'll see what I can do about remixing the better or still relevant points from here.
